Banana nut bread

This is a great bread to make as a hostess gift if you are going to a party, friends are visiting from out of town or just as a snack. I scanned the recipe out of a book so there are 3 other recipes above it I haven't tried (disclaimer, haha). So,it's the bottom recipe. I typically cut the butter in half to just four tablespoons and use very ripe bananas. And, I like to add 1 cup of chopped pecans - frozen or fresh blueberries might do nicely as well. Also I bake this at 400 degrees for 35 minutes in an elongated tube like loaf pan. It makes about 20 slices. This is moist, not too sweet and very delicious. A lot of people have asked me for the recipe when I have made it. Cheers!
