Baked pasta a la Marilyn

Spinach salad with viniagrette and garlic bread hit the spot.

Baked pasta a la Marilyn

I visited with my Mom and brother on Wednesday night and my Mom made a baked pasta (see picture). She boiled a pound of barrilla penne pasta just before it got to "al dente" and then layered it in a pyrex baking dish with part skim mozzarrella cheese and meat sauce (homemade of course). She baked it for 30 minutes at 350 degrees, uncovered.
Also we had bread and salad, courtesy of yours truly.

We're trying to make a meal as a family together at least once a week.

It's good to see the fam and have yummy eats!

  1. When I think of baked pasta, I think of Marilyn. I absolutely love her dinners, they are so homey and they have good solid flavors. I'd love to come out and get a bite of that=)
